North Wales Business School is part of the Faculty for Social and Life Sciences. Delivering across a range of business subject areas and with a focus on student experience, and teaching and learning excellence, the school is expanding its online post graduate degrees to enable our students to study flexibly to achieve their professional and academic ambitions.

We are seeking sessional lecturers in business to teach on our online MSc programme through the medium of Welsh. For this post, you must have Welsh as your first language, or be able to converse effectively through the medium of Welsh. Experience of working in a higher education setting would be an advantage, along with relevant industrial experience within your subject specialism.

The MSc is a fully online programme, allowing students to study flexibly. Each module is taught across eight weeks, and the role requires you to support post graduate students with their teaching, learning, and feedback and assessment marking, ensuring all learning materials and communications are undertaken through the medium of Welsh.



We are looking for sessional lecturers in the following subject areas:

Business and Management
Human Resource Management
Business Strategy and Decision-Making
Marketing
Finance and Economics
Diversity and Employee Engagement
Project Management
Data Analytics for Business
Supply Chain Management
Healthcare Management (Business)
Organisational Psychology
International Business
Research Methods for Business
Literature Review and Dissertation.


Essential criteria:

A relevant degree, Master’s degree (MA, MSc or MBA), PhD or equivalent vocational qualification.
Teaching experience and qualification/recognition or be willing to work towards.
Prior experience of online delivery in higher education, or experience of delivering lectures/seminars/workshops within a learning setting.
Ability to identify, develop and share innovative teaching practices and resources.
The ability to teach flexibly, adapting to the needs of a variety of learners.
Accuracy and precision in written presentation.
