Casual Contract worked on an as and when required basis
Based at Mintlyn Crematorium, Kings Lynn
We have a rare opportunity for you to join our small team of resident organists to play organ music for funeral ceremonies as requested by families.
We need you to liaise with the crematoriums Chapel Attendant and prepare for each service to ensure music is played at the correct point of the funeral service. You will play the organ with the ability to play a wide variety of hymns and classical music to be able to provide the service needed for the family.
You will have previous experience of playing the organ for funeral services, with the ability to deal with bereaved families and those attending services in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner. You will have effective time management skills to ensure the prompt arrival in readiness for the services and be flexible to cover for holiday and sickness of the other resident organists.
