At The Woolwich College, enriching student interactions is our top priority. We are seeking a skilled Student Recruitment Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong observation skills, capable of picking up on subtle details during phone conversations. The role involves understanding and responding to student feedback, making students feel valued, and generating leads to meet sales objectives.

Objectives of This Role:
- Manage inbound and outbound telecalling.
- Enrol new students, generate leads, and follow up.

Responsibilities:
- Tailor pitches for students based on individual circumstances during telecalling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing leads while building rapport with new prospects.
- Follow up on leads through telephone, SMS, and email.
- Update social media accounts and regularly post updates.
- Create reports and documentation based on interactions.
- Report analysis and observations to the team lead.
- Adhere to organisational guidelines and methodologies during telecalling.
- Generate sales by cold calling active or previous leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Secondary School, GCSEs.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Previous experience in a sales role or a similar position.
- Data entry skills to support telecalling efforts.
- Ability to close sales through effective negotiation.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Research skills for telecalling and prospecting new leads.
- Proven track record as a recruitment officer with experience in telephone sales.
- Ability to adjust communication style based on social cues and conversational hints.
- Familiarity with CRM software and telephone systems is a significant advantage.
