Summary

We are recruiting a Care Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 21 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Ty Clyd Residential Home, Bargoed

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Services Team.

Tŷ Clyd Residential Home, Bargoed is looking for a Care Assistant to provide care and support for older adults.



The successful candidates will be required to carry out duties to support residents in a dignified and respectful manner, promoting independence and wellbeing and adopt a person centred approach.



Rota patterns of work are over a 7 day period. Approximate shift times are 7-2.30pm & 2.30-10pm. There will be opportunities to work additional hours.


For the role, we ask that you have:

The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
Knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity and choice.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
