Summary
The post holder will provide remote hardware and/or software support to NPIC customers, and will be responsible for Service Desk first level fix system administration, The Service Desk handles a high volume of tickets from NPIC customers and partners. The post holder will provide the best service possible to customers at all times. The role will involve classifying, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving Service Desk support calls in a timely manner in line with NPIC standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The post holder will carry out first line fixes; with remote access where required and assist the Systems Administrators in the resolution of first line fixes, through mentoring and feedback. When incidents cannot be resolved first time the post holder will assign the calls to the relevant teams. The post holder will actively contribute to the transformation of the in-house Service Desk.
