Summary


We’relooking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Digital Marketing and Communications team andtake the lead on managing the redevelopment of our websites,using creativity and innovative practices tomeet the needs of our staff, patients, and stakeholders.


The project will focus on introducing innovations in accessibility,usabilityand functionality to create an excellent digital experience. With a wide range of physical and mental health requirements amongst our key audiences, our intention is to create an engaging digital presence that simplifies complex information and processes and provides access to healthcare for the most vulnerable communities in Berkshire and the surrounding counties.


You will be expected todemonstrateeffective skills in planning, delivery, and evaluation for major projects.


The successful applicant will need a recognised qualification in project management or haveextensiveexperience of working in a project management role and will havehigh standardsof written and spoken English.


This is a hybrid post allowing you to work from home with the expectation of travel into our main Berkshire sites when needed, such as for in-person user testing sessions.

Reporting to our Head of Digital Marketing & Communications, and working in collaboration with our Digital Communications Officers, Content StrategyManagerand external suppliers, you will:
• Manage the project lifecycles, defining the project scope andobjectives, coordinating projectresourcesand overseeing the project budget

• Liaise withinternal and external stakeholderstoidentifyproject needs and requirements,feedback on the progress made, and engage them in user testing activities

• Coordinate Project Board and workstream meetings, capturing actions, presenting on progress, and managingallproject documentation

• Develop and deliver project plans, taking the lead on planning, delivery, and evaluation, usingappropriate methodologiesand working with the wider digital team and external suppliers

• Providesupport andguidance forprojectteammembers to help them effectively manage their workstreams,identifyingrisks and implementing steps to mitigating against those risks

• Issueregular project updates and communications to engagedifferent stakeholders in the project

The “must haves” for this role:

• Extensiveexperience in a project management rolewithin website development projects

• Experience of devising, implementing, managing, and evaluating successful projects involving a broad range of stakeholders

• Experience of dealing with diverse teamsand an ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders

• An excellent understanding of how to make best use of digital tools and platforms to support project delivery
