Summary

Calderdale Sports Services operate four facilities: Sowerby Bridge, Brighouse and Todmorden Sports Centres, and the Shay Stadium.
The service ensures the effective, efficient and safe operation of the Sports facilities, to provide the highest standards of customer Service and to satisfy the requirements of the Organisations Policies, Procedures, and Service Operating Plans.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivating instructor to deliver high quality Inductions and programmes, and to monitor the users, to ensure safe use of equipment within our fitness studios.
Provide guidance, support and instruction to customers using the gym.
This post requires a high level of emphasis upon customer care and membership retention.
A level 2 Gym instructor qualification is essential, in addition to health and fitness knowledge.
Demonstrable customer service skills; being able and willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
