Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with one of the largest Education groups in London to recruit a temporary HR Business Partner for 3 - 6 months (with a chance of permanency). The role is paying up to £231 per day and is to start in the next month ready for a busy period with the organisation! It is a full time, hybrid role, 2/3 days per week in the office and at home with a flexible approach in start and end times! It sits within a busy but respected HR team and reports into a Senior HR Business Partner.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to join a large, successful Education group. This role requires a proactive individual who can provide comprehensive HR support, advice, and guidance across a range of employee relations activities. Your focus will be on driving effective workforce planning, managing complex employee relations cases, and promoting a culture of performance management.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and employment tribunals.
- Develop and implement HR processes, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Collaborate with managers to proactively manage sickness absence, probation, and performance.
- Draft HR documentation such as briefing notes, reports, and correspondence.
- Design and deliver HR training sessions for managers on various topics, including absence management and performance.
- Support workforce planning and departmental staffing, especially in alignment with curriculum needs.
- Manage and advise on job evaluations, grading reviews, and restructuring processes.
Person specification of the HR Business Partner:
- Qualifications: Graduate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and experience in a senior HR generalist role.
- Experience: Proven track record in managing complex employee relations cases and advising on HR policies. Experience in consulting with trade unions or employee representatives is essential.
- Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice HR, ideally within an education setting. Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience.
