Summary

Role overview

Main Purpose

We are looking for Production Operatives to work within our modern manufacturing production facility as part of the Operations
team on a busy assembly line soldering and assembling small components to meet customer requirements. Experience is highly
desirable but training will be given.




Main Responsibilities:

* Follow instructions and production documentation including bills of material, basic assembly drawings and process instructions
to produce products.
* Participate in daily comm. cell meetings and work within a small team to achieve manufacturing targets (cost, quality and
delivery).
* Embrace Unipart Way lean tools and techniques to support with day to day operations and monitoring of KPI’s
* Work in a safe manner, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work, following
appropriate Health and Safety guidance, training and company rules and procedures as appropriate.
* Report any accidents, hazards or dangerous / unsafe behaviour to your line manager immediately.




Essential criteria:

· Previous experience working within a Manufacturing/Production environment is preferable

· Excellent attention to detail (work requires precision with hand / eye co-ordination) and high degree of manual
dexterity.
