We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing and Design Team at Renfrewshire Council and help us deliver exciting marketing campaigns and projects.
You will have a degree-level marketing qualification or equivalent subject and experience of planning and implementing marketing campaigns.


Digital marketing and communications experience is essential – this includes social media campaigns, social media management and email marketing. It’s also essential that you can demonstrate your experience of delivering campaigns on-time and within budget and monitoring and evaluating their performance.


Experience in a similar role managing a portfolio of brands, working in the public sector, promoting events, undertaking marketing research and working in a full-service marketing and communications team are desirable. You’ll be a confident communicator and effective organiser, able to write clearly and concisely and present effectively. And you’ll be a positive ‘can-do’ person, able to motivate yourself and work under pressure.


We’d like you to demonstrate that you can analyse marketing data, write copy effectively, use digital content management systems and manage the expectations of different stakeholders.The job role will occasionally require evening and weekend working across different locations so you must have a flexible approach to work.


Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 12 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
