Summary


Pine Cottage at the Colman Hospital are looking to recruit a therapy assistant for 22.5 hours per week

If you are looking for a change, we may be the ideal place for you! We are a small friendly team who use our specialist skills in caring for amputee patients from across Norfolk and Waveney on our inpatient ward and outpatient clinics.

To assist in the delivery of high standards of healthcare to patients within the amputee rehabilitation unit outpatients clinic and in their own homes.
To undertake specific skilled support work to aid rehabilitation of patients who have had amputations and patients that require general rehabilitation
To work without direct supervision within the Multidisciplinary team (MDT) undertaking tasks delegated by registered practitioners. To report back patient’s progress and inform the therapist of any issues or concerns.

You will deliver evidence-based care to a high standard. You will demonstrate the ability to working within the Trust's behavioural framework which will be essential to the role. In

An ability to manage your own learning supported by the team gaining new knowledge and skills to benefit yourself and the service will be vital. Professionalism is an important part of the role, and we would expect staff to be able to deliver this.

Good interpersonal skills are essential as is the need to be always cheerful and courteous. Good computer skills or the ability to learn will be required for this role. Record keeping will also be essential part of the role and important to ensure high standards of care delivery for this post.
