Requirements
South Lanarkshire Justice Social Work are recruiting to their Operation management team. These opportunities come at an exciting time for Justice Services as we embark on implementing our service re-design, including a range of innovative practices through our Recovery Orientated Justice team, restorative justice initiatives and supporting those with lived experience of justice systems to be part of our workforce.
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for the management of a range of statutory Justice services. The two posts will cover areas including Unpaid Work Services, Throughcare and locality services. We are particularly interested to have applications from people who have a strong background in MAPPA and the management of those that pose a risk of serious harm, to support our vision to create a dedicated MAPPA/MAPP’s team over the next 18 months. The roles will require supervision and line management of Team Leaders/Senior Practitioners within the teams you manage.
Duties include ensuring Justice Services provide high quality services reflecting social work values and council policy and in accordance with National Standards, Statutory requirements and legislation. Both posts have a focus on driving forward our commitment to performance management, quality assurance and self evaluation. We welcome applicants who have had management experience in Justice Social Work and interested in advancing their career and taking a key role in implementing our Justice Service Re-design.
