Summary
Gi Group is working in partnership with one of the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, which has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a self-employed driver. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
Location: Redruth (TR16 4HZ)
Pay rate - £126.00 per day with weekly pay
Hours of work:
- Starting at 11.30am working until approximately 9pm
- Working up to 10 hours per day over 5 days Monday to Friday and will include at least one Saturday or Sunday every other weekend
Start Date: As soon as possible
Training: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver and built in training to a total of 12 days.
Self-Employed Driver Responsibilities include:
* Loading of vehicle each morning
* High volume deliveries following 3-week onboarding process
* "Job and knock" - paid day rate
* Adhering to standard work processes at all times.
Self-Employed Driver Requirements:
* A full and valid UK Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence
* A minimum of 1 years driving is essential
* Driving licence must be in current home address.
* You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 25kg)
* You must be able to provide various documents for identity checks
