Job Details

  • As Hastings Direct embarks on its journey to try to become a truly digital first insurer we are looking for a customer focussed and commercially minded Marketing Lead to help this transformation.
  • As our Marketing Delivery Lead, your primary responsibility will be our marketing performance and our CRM capability. This is all in the service of creating a persuasive, helpful and friendly customer experience.
  • You will also get the opportunity to use all your experience to help define and evolve our overall marketing strategy. This will help deliver higher sales, more renewals, increased self-service and higher income per customer.
  • We still feel that we are a maturing marketing function at Hastings Direct so this is a great opportunity to help deliver on our vision as we strive to embed a multichannel, data driven approach across our marketing for the first time.
  • This is currently a Fixed Term Contract vacancy for 6 months but with the potential to extend, dependent on the business' needs.

Skills we would love you to have
  • If you have a breadth of experience across the marketing lifecycle with a particular focus on the drivers of commercial success, then we would love to hear from you.
  • A big part of this role is is about improving and optimising our existing function, so experience in this area would not go amiss.
  • We would also like to see some evidence of stakeholder management, with a proven track record engaging and interacting with members of senior management.
  • As mentioned above, a large part of the role is CRM Governance so one thing we are really after is experience in marketing preferences. This means using Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Engagement Platform (CEP).
