Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a dedicated Multi-Site Officer (Painting & Decorating) to join our maintenance team. If you have a passion for creating vibrant and well-maintained environments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.You will be responsible for providing a high standard painting and decorating service across multiple campuses, ensuring the effective maintenance and aesthetic appeal of our college facilities.Multi-Site Officer (Painting & Decorating) - Key Responsibilities:Painting and Decorating: Perform all aspects of painting and decorating, both interior and exterior, including the safe use of ladders and tower scaffolding.Condition Surveys: Work with Site Managers to conduct condition surveys and maintain a schedule of works, identifying necessary maintenance, repairs, and new projects.Supervision: Oversee and schedule work for up to 2 trade apprentices, guiding them in their professional development.General Maintenance: Assist with various maintenance activities outside your primary expertise to ensure campus readiness.Site Coverage: Provide cover for Site Officers as needed, including evening, weekend, and occasional call-out duties.Team Assistance: Support team members with day-to-day and planned maintenance and porterage tasks.Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair plant and equipment within safe working limits.Safe Operation: Operate plant and equipment safely.Grounds Maintenance: Participate in grounds maintenance, caretaking, porterage, and emergency cleaning on a rota basis.Security Duties: Perform occasional security duties, including emergency callouts (with additional pay).Multi-Site Officer (Painting & Decorating) - You:To apply, you will hold:Level 2 (GCSE A-C) qualification or equivalent in English and Maths or a willingness to work toward them.Hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Painting/Decorating or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to work towards one.If you're a proactive, skilled painter and decorator with a "can-do" attitude, we want to hear from you.Benefits:30 days annual leave for Professional Service Staff, including bank holidays and additional closure days over the Christmas periodAutomatic enrolment into the Local Government Pension SchemeFree onsite car parkingTo submit your application for this exciting Multi-Site Officer (Painting & Decorating) opportunity, please click 'Apply' now.
