Housing - Empowering Housing Solutions for All in Wiltshire

Our Housing Solutions Service provides customers with council’s statutory housing advice, homelessness and housing needs assessment functions and works one to one with homeless customers to help resolve their housing difficulties. We help them explore all options to find safe and affordable accommodation.

In this crucial role for the county, you will provide advice, work to proactively prevent homelessness and assess housing needs for admission to the council's Housing Register. You'll collaborate with various departments and other agencies to fulfil our statutory duties.

You will be empathetic, adaptable, customer-focused and analytical with the ability to understand, apply and explain the law. If you have knowledge of landlord and tenant, allocations and homelessness law, that will be helpful but is not essential.

Be the change you want today, advise and support those in your community who struggle with their housing needs and empower them to improve their housing prospects through applying for this role and securing your future.
