Summary
We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are extremely proud to be working with a hugely important regional charity which is committed to improving mental health and wellbeing in the community. This amazing charity is now seeking a Fundraising & Engagement Manager to join their high-achieving income generation team.
This is a pivotal role within the charity, and we’re looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of fundraising successes. As Fundraising & Engagement Manager, you’ll be responsible for implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan, developing a range of income streams, and leading the fundraising & engagement team.
With the aid of the Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator, you’ll raise funds from a range of sources, including corporates, community groups and trusts, whilst also delivering an existing calendar of events and developing relationships with major donors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by mental health issues.
Fundraising & Engagement Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Bedfordshire, Hybrid
Salary – Circa £35,000
Duties will include:
• Leading on the implementation of a robust fundraising strategy
• Building and leading a high-performing fundraising & engagement team
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with community groups, businesses and major donors
• Identifying and developing opportunities for funding from trusts and foundations
• Delivering an annual calendar of fundraising events
• Developing strategies to increase brand awareness and donor engagement
The ideal candidate will:
• Have demonstrable experience of fundraising successes within at least two of: trusts and foundations, major donors, community, corporate or events fundraising.
• Be a confident and compelling communicator, able to tailor their style to different audiences
• Have outstanding planning, organisational, and implementation skills
• Be willing and able to travel across the area and occasionally work outside of normal hours
• Have the ability to lead and inspire a team of fundraisers
• Have a full Driving Licence, and access to a vehicle
