An exciting part-time opportunity with an established Healthcare charity to oversee the operations of the services provision.

Job title: Service Operations Manager

Location: Remote - Occasional visits to the offices in Maidenhead.

Salary: Pro rata £20,986.80 - £29,050.20 (Full time equivalent: £34,978 - £48,417)

Contract: Permanent - Part-time, 22.5 hours per week

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Services you will oversee the operations of the charity's services provision. You will ensure the delivery and outcomes align with the relevant service strategy and with the overarching organisational objectives and values.

Key responsibilities:

- Recruitment and management of regional coordinators and regional service volunteers.

- Working across the charity to ensure integration of the Services team across the organisation.

- Monitoring and control of budgets relating to the services department.

- Managing outsourced service providers.

- Overseeing and reviewing literature orders ensuring swift and cost-effective delivery.

- Providing support to the helpline team by answering nonclinical/dietetic enquiries.

- Supporting and coordinating projects as appropriate and managing these as required from start to finish.

- Supporting the development of a content plan for a charity's healthcare professional educational activities, determining what topics should be covered and what the best format would be (i.e. webinar, online modules, presentation, panel discussion, case study).

- Identifying potential topics for future educational content (through internal relationships, desk research and telephone research with potential speakers or the target audience).

- Facilitating regional/national support requirements for events including healthcare professionals and public / patient events.

- Attending meetings and presenting when required.

About you:

To be successful in the role you must have:

- Demonstrable experience of management of services.

- Experience working in the charity sector, or closely with healthcare professionals, ideally within the NHS or private healthcare (other sectors would be considered).

- Strong proven experience of developing and driving forward new services.

- Experience in developing and managing strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior healthcare professionals.

- An understanding of the UK health systems, CVD services and NHS structures, both nationally and locally.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective working relationships with a wide range of people.

- Self-motivated, driven, and energetic individual, with a positive disposition.

You may also have experience in areas such as Operations Manager, Services Manager, Operations Analyst, Operational Specialist, Service Project Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Senior Service Coordinator, Programme Manager, Operations Supervisor, Supply Service Manager, Quality Manager.
