Mentoring Coordinator - Integrated Offender Management

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives? Our client, a leading national charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by the criminal justice system, is seeking a committed Mentoring Coordinator to join their team in London.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of a mentoring service, supporting individuals on their journey back into the community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Volunteer Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising a team of dedicated volunteers to provide mentorship. Develop robust volunteer onboarding and training programs. Monitor volunteer performance and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Case Management: Developing and implementing personalized support plans for service users, ensuring their needs are met and progress is tracked. Conduct regular case reviews to assess progress and adjust support plans as needed.
  • Partnership Building: Collaborate with probation services, other charities, and relevant agencies to create a supportive network for clients. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor the effectiveness of the mentoring program by collecting and analyzing data. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in mentoring or coaching
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system
  • Experience in working with volunteers
  • Strong case management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
