Summary
The Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) plays a pivotal role in the Trust’s leadership team providing vision, professional leadership and strategic direction in the delivery of the Trust’s aims and improvements in quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
The CDIO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. They will be the lead expert responsible for delivery of the digital agenda at the Trust, leading the use and adoption of new digital technologies and approaches including AI, deploying clinical benefits to gain productivity, enhance the working lives of colleagues and deliver improved patient experience. They will be able to work collaboratively with multi-professional clinical teams and administrative teams across all sites that make up OUH.
The OUH is part of the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire West Integrated Care System (BOB ICS). The CDIO will work collaboratively with the ICS digital leadership team and play an active role in Oxfordshire Place and the Acute Provider Collaborative.
The post holder is:
· Accountable for Information Technology, Information System Management and Information Security in line with statutory and regulatory guidance
· Senior Information Risk Owner and Caldicott Guardian
· Accountable for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
· Accountable for Digital Transformation and Innovation
· Responsible for the ongoing development of the local Secure Data Environment (SDE)
