Pre production Engineer
Our client are seeking a dynamic and skilled Pre Production Engineer to join the team. The Pre Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, estimating, and communicating with clients and suppliers to ensure a successful pre-production phase. The ideal candidate will have hands-on engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities for Pre-Production Engineer
- Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with the engineering team to plan the manufacturing process
- Provide clients with detailed quotes and timelines for pre-production activities
- Conduct thorough reviews of manufacturing timelines and adjust plans as necessary to meet client expectations
- Act as a liaison between customers and the production team, ensuring that all project requirements are met
Experience for Pre-Production Engineer:
- Proven experience in engineering and manufacturing, with a focus on pre-production activities
- Ideally you will be a time-served engineer with a strong understanding of machining, welding, and fabrication processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications
- Proficient in project planning and estimation, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budget requirements
