Summary
We are looking for a Permanent Part Time Administrative Officer based in Suffolk Army Cadet Force headquarters in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Are you an organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is computer literate, able to learn new systems quickly and able to work with minimum supervision? Good communication and inter-personal skills are also required.
Range of tasks include:
• Maintain the ACF Database Westminster.
• Processing the recruitment documents of Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and Cadets.
• Reception duties.
This post is for 20 hours per week; the exact working hours can be flexed to accommodate a good work-life balance and will be agreed before employment commences. This position attracts a current salary of £13,492 p.a. (equivalent to full time salary of £24,985) plus lots of additional benefits.
Additional benefits include:
• Alternative working practices such as working from home
• Up to 6 days Special Paid Leave for volunteering (pro rata)
• Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave
• 25 days annual leave rising (1 day per year) to 30 days after 5 years (pro rata) (previous HM Armed Forces service and previous service in the Public Sector may attract additional entitlement)
• Ability to roll over up to 10 days annual leave per year (pro rata)
• In addition to 8 public holidays per year you will also receive leave for HM The King’s birthday
• 15 Days Special Leave a year period to for volunteer military reserve commitments (pro rata)
