Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tree Services Operative to join our team. As a Tree Services Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal, pruning, and maintenance of trees and vegetation. You will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal properties.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to sustainable land management, and ensure the safety and beauty of our communities. You will work closely with a team of experienced tree service professionals and receive training and support to further develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities
Safely operate and maintain a range of tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, boom lifts, and trimming tools.
Carry out tree climbing and aerial rescue operations to remove hazardous or unwanted branches and trees.
Provide tree pruning and maintenance services to enhance tree health, appearance, and longevity.
Assist in the planting and transplanting of trees and shrubs, ensuring proper root systems and soil preparation.
Perform stump grinding and removal to eliminate tripping hazards and create space for new plantings.
Conduct tree risk assessments and collaborate with other team members to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Adhere to safety guidelines and policies to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in tree services or a related field.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining tree care equipment.
Strong understanding of tree care practices, including pruning, planting, and maintenance techniques.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate with clients.
Basic knowledge of tree biology, pest management, and tree identification.
