We have the perfect opportunity for you to join our diverse and evolving team!
You will be responsible for all aspects of Driving Test operational management within a given Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) sector. This involves leading, managing, motivating, and inspiring staff across the sector to deliver excellent service with a strong commitment to driving and delivering business efficiencies, maintaining the integrity of the driving test and contributing to the wider safe driving principles. You will line manage up to 16 members of staff across a number of test centre locations.
Alongside this you will ensure that a consistent high standard of customer service across the sector including professional and courteous customer contact.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor delivery, and provide feedback to ensure achievement of desired outcomes.
- Monitor and manage performance of examiners to ensure correct assessment, control and conduct of tests, using appropriate metrics, monitoring tools, management information and processes.
- Ensure that the Performance Management System is implemented uniformly and effectively and fairly.
- Guide and influence the behaviour of examiners to support organisational and individuals’ development goals.
- Work collaboratively with other areas of the business to deliver desired outcomes.

Additional Information
There will be some instances where you will be required to drive on DVSA business within the UK, with occasional overnight stays, however you will be notified in advance.
Whilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part time basis, there is a business requirement, for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 35 hours per week, over 5 working days.
