We're looking to to recruit an inspirational, people focused Operations Manager for the bustling Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel

A day in the life of…

This Operations lead role will see you be a people champion, Focusing on empowering and driving the team to smash their goals and deliver first class customer service across the hotels and the many functions and weddings that take place throughout the year.

You'll offer constant attention to detail to ensure a great guest experience, createing and implementing standard operating procedures to be adhered to across all departments and ensuring performance is managed effectively at all levels.

You'll be a hands on operatior working with the Senior team to contribute to the overall strategic plan for the business, utilising all available opportunities to drive revenue and manage the overall running of the hotel in the GMs absence, monitoring guest feedback and actioning where appropriate.

What do we need from you?

• Experience in a large Hotel or events venue overseeing food, beverage, conference & events. Ideally you have also previously supported colleagues in housekeeping and reception
• You will have a positive approach and excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team culture
• A service orientated approach and a passion for high standards with experience of coaching, developing and training team members
• You're organised, flexible and able to work well under pressure
