Summary

We are on the lookout for a full-time (37 hours) Technician to join our amazing Reach & Respond team based in Recdar for a year. We are looking for somebody who wants to make a positive difference to people’s lives by promoting independence.

What you’ll be doing 

The right candidate will be able to build strong colleague and customer relationships and be solution focused, as you will be part of a team which makes a difference on a daily basis.

You will undertake installations, removals, programming and maintenance of assistive technology equipment in our customer’s homes enabling them to live a safer independent life.

This will include collecting and maintaining accurate customer information to support a person centred, quality service to our customers; carrying out assessments for customers to advise for the most appropriate Telecare solutions; and always taking a person-centred approach in supporting customers to identify needs and solutions, including referral and signposting to additional services.

You will need to have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, using your initiative and building strong relationships across the service area and with partner organisations. You will also need to be able to:

Use your own initiative
Exercise a high degree of flexibility
Demonstrate you are computer literate
Use your strong communication and interpersonal skills within the role.
