Summary
Daniel Owen are currently seeking a highly experience 'Chartered Building Surveyor' to join Our Client's bespoke Chartered Surveying and Property Management Firm in North London.
As a skilled and motivated Chartered Surveyor, you will be entrusted with delivering project work and professional services across an extensive range of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting specifications, managing tenders, and overseeing construction projects on-site.
- Creating project drawings using AutoCAD.
- Handling planning and Building Regulation applications.
- Conducting measured surveys of land and buildings.
- Monitoring new build projects on behalf of funders, tenants, and purchasers.
- Preparing feasibility studies and sketch designs for diverse building types.
- Developing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
- Negotiating and preparing schedules of dilapidation's.
Requirements:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Chartered status (MRICS) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in both residential and commercial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with surveying software and tools.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required
