Summary

Assisting and
supporting the technical team in delivering services and solutions to our
customers. You will be involved in workshop repairs, System configuration,
Software imaging, 1st Line Helpdesk, assisting sales and purchasing,
and logistics.





Your duties and
responsibilities in this role will consist of:

Ensure a coordinated approach between the Sales
and purchasing departments and the Config Centre to the enhance the user
experience


·
Work with the Service Delivery team to quickly,
effectively understand and methodically deal with allocated tasks


·
Provide support to the Configuration, Helpdesk
and Workshop Engineers around IT repairs and device imaging


·
Provide 1st Line Helpdesk support


·
Work with Customer Services to ensure all
enquiries are fully owned and the service levels are maintained with new and
existing clients


Training
Velocity
apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully
qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge,
they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to
expand future career prospects.


Throughout the
apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated
team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.


Successful completion of
this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification,
with training in how to:

Install and configure
relevant software and hardware as appropriate for example: mobile apps,
printers, projectors, scanners and cameras.





·
Address IT issues by
prioritizing in response to customer service level agreements.





·
Administer security access requirements and
permissions for stakeholders escalating as necessary for example password
resets.





·
Support the roll out of upgrades or new systems or
applications.

Qualifications required

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)


Skills required
·
Previous technical skills/knowledge related to
IT is essential


·
IT literate included Microsoft Office


·
A hands on can-do approach to work


·
Excellent communication and ability to work
under pressure
