Role purpose / summary

Responsible for managing the transition of services from the current supplier to Capgemini. The scope of services that this role will be responsible for include Service Desk, ServiceNow and Service Management. The role will be part of a wider team transferring a much broader range of end user services and application services

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Responsible for developing and then managing a transition plan for the transfer of agreed services (Service Desk, Service Management and ServiceNow)
  • Understands the contracted scope and manages Capgemini and customer obligations accordingly
  • Effectively manages Dependencies
  • Able to work independently with the customer and the incumbent supplier to ensure that services are transferred in line with the agreed plan.
  • Responsible for ensuring that agreed Deliverables are prepared, reviewed and customer approval gained in line with the project plan.
  • Manages risks and issues, identifying and implementing suitable mitigations; escalating where necessary
  • Manages project governance and reporting, to ensure stakeholders are aware of progress
  • Ensures that service readiness and acceptance activities are planned and executed, to ensure approval for the service transfer is given
