Job description
37 hours per week

The Governing Body of Brynmenyn Primary School is looking to appoint an excellent, proactive and highly motivated Senior Administrative Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with high expectations, a sense of collaboration and positive enthusiasm, to join our happy and proactive school community.

The successful candidate will:

be able to work positively with our children, staff team, parents/ carers and community;

be proactive, flexible and a team player;

have high expectations of themselves and others, and will take a sense of pride in their role;

be able to manage and prioritise workload and meet deadlines;

have knowledge of SIMS Management Information/Financial Management Systems;

be responsible for the efficient management of the reception and office, liaising with parents, staff and a range of outside agencies;

have the ability to work on their own initiative; and

be an active team member.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh would be beneficial, but not essential for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
