Buchen ICS delivers a wide range of industry-specific services such as catalyst handling, silo cleaning work, industrial chemical services and decontamination work.
In this role, you will be responsible for the support of associates in matters of QHSE. Where necessary, with the assistance of a safety professional, you will undertake and deliver appropriate training in relation to risk assessments and the safe conduct of all project related works.
We have one branch in the UK and branches abroad, so some travel will be included.

What will your role as a Project Manager look like?
• Ensure and maintain a working knowledge of all company equipment and their safe use
• Co-ordination and preparation of project works including loading list
• Briefing, instruction and information of the workers in terms of internal and external regulations, instruction and target agreements
• Check and release timesheets of the subordinates
• Check and ensure qualification verification of the subordinate employees
• Leadership and disposition of employees in consideration of their personal qualifications and relative contract requirements
• Support the enhancement of client relationships by fulfilling the guidelines
• You will be cooperative and provide support to both employees and clients
• Special tasks (dense loading, specialist training etc) in accordance with the personal qualification
• The correct submission and completion of all field project relevant data
• When necessary provide assistance in the workshop or other activities as required of the role, participation in the preparation of project related activities and training
• Communicate directly to the Business Unit Manager, Supervisors and employees
• Report any incidents or near misses that affect the company, colleagues or clients
• Fully cooperate and contribute to the implementation of the company’s principles and the QSHE management system
• Participating in Buchen ICS Group projects if required
• The appraisal of the supervisors and operatives to allow them scope to improve and identify potential training requirements to allow them to progress
• Maintaining relationships with existing and new clients
