Summary

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Partner to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in either our Oldham Bower House or London Brock Street office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.

The overall purpose of the role is to be the primary contact and specialist for data in designated business area(s), providing a Business Intelligence service that drives reporting, intelligence, advanced visualisation and business insight.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Excellent experience in the design of delivery of visualisation.
  • Experience of leading/managing specialised individuals in delivering an insightful led data service.
  • Strong and proven experience in stakeholder management, ability to engage and influence people at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and ability to identify and present problems and solutions.
  • Significant exposure in developing data visualisation content, particularly Microsoft Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of database interrogation tools and technologies, including, but not limited to SQL, DAX and M Code
  • Able to prioritise business priorities and respond efficiently to changing business needs.
  • Track record of developing scalable solutions, analytical and inquisitive mindset, understanding business needs and delivering scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Exposure and/or experience across modern and common technology platforms and able to leverage the best out of them.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the housing sector.
  • Knowledge of application of Microsoft T-SQL.
  • Experience with the Power Platform particularly Power Automate.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) in computing/data related subject or a modern data related qualification.
