Summary

An exciting opportunity to join FM Conway as a Strategic Project Manager! Working within our Structures division, you will provide and implement strategic, innovative, engineering solutions for high profile framework contracts. You will be working collaboratively across the business, leading the stakeholder team through the process of analysing business information and mobilising solutions to support FM Conway’s strategy and vision. This is a permanent, full time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent. Travel to other company locations in Central London will be required.

The duties of the Strategic Project Manager role will include:

-Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

-Ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and ensuring that resources are available and allocated within the correct timeframe

-Assessing and managing contractual and commercial risk for the business and stakeholders

-Proactively monitoring progress including recording, resolution and escalation of associated issues and risks

-Applying analysis and problem solving to structure unclear information

-Ensuring the successful delivery of the project against any PID (Project Initiation Documentation)

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for an organised and proactive Strategic Project Manager who is confident in delivering strategic projects in alignment to the business strategy. You will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, along with the ability to proactively tackle issues and see them through to resolution. You will have high attention to detail and be able to execute complex projects within specific timeframes. This role will involve travel to other company locations therefore, you must hold a full UK driving license.
