Summary
HLTA - Manager of the ILearn Study Support RoomWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward-thinking Manager of the ILearn Study Support Room to join a team of dedicated, diligent and supportive professionals. The successful candidate will be committed to school improvement and developing strategies which challenge, interest and support all of our students. You will have the drive and determination to move us closer to our ultimate goal of becoming an 'outstanding' school.The ILearn Study Support Room is a dedicated part of the school established to support those students on a part-time timetable or flexible curriculum provision. A key role for the successful candidate will be to develop bespoke programmes for the students and to liaise with teaching staff to ensure appropriate work is completed and progress is tracked. The newly appointed member of staff will be committed to maximising attendance, wellbeing and progress of every student in the school. You will be a dedicated and forward-thinking person who can contribute to the growth and development of the ILearn Study Support Room and be willing to make a full contribution to our school community.The post is for 32.5 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks a year.You will work within a vibrant team who believe in their own development. As a result of this, staff actively engage in and take responsibility for continuing their own professional learning. This focus on development of staff has led to many taking on additional responsibilities within Chipping Sodbury School or moving on to promotions at other institutions; this is something we really value.
