We also sell our services to the corporate, public, and not-for-profit sectors to help them understand the news agenda, connect
with the media, shape their voice, and increase their visibility. We are seeking a Sales Executive to help position the full range
of our products and services to existing customers, to understand how they interact with the media and to effectively promote a
single customer view within PA MediaPoint.

About the Role.

This is an exciting time for the team following new business growth in 2022 and 2023.

To support similar ambitions in the years ahead, we have new customer focused solutions to go to market. This is a great
jumping-on point for a hunter-type salesperson that is looking to develop consultative sales practises and methods to maximise
revenue and ensure that PA fully understands the value we provide to our clients.

The Business Development Representative will work with the Sales Manager alongside 4 peers, and will seek to engage and close new
contracts with prospects across a range of sectors that includes Government, Charity, Corporate, Associations – the key to this
role will be approaching each task with a method and plan designed to achieve maximum coverage of your territories, and to covert
as many self-generated leads into opportunities and proposals as possible.

Key Responsibilities.

* 360 New Business Sales Role: Prospecting and generating new business opportunities from cold, through to Closed Won
* Working with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities to grow revenue and to target multiple territories.
* Being a key part of team and product strategy conversations, bringing ideas for improvement and optimisation
* Open conversations with new prospects from cold using probing techniques to identify their PR & Comms challenges.
* Effectively and efficiently manage sales pipeline, with focus on shortening deal cycles and converting open opportunities.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting from cold to close, working with the Sales Manager – New Business to ensure that
the customer has a seamless sale experience.
* Work with Marketing to build sales lists, cover and convert inbound leads, and to develop sales automation processes to
increase coverage.



About You.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate that has experience managing the full sales cycle in a Business to Business role,
looking for an opportunity to further develop their consultative selling skills. The ideal candidate embraces the humility of
continuous learning, understanding that every interaction is an opportunity for growth. They are not just open to coaching, but
actively seek it out, knowing that the key to continuous growth and success lies in curiosity and the willingness to learn.

You'll also need.

* Demonstrable ability to manage sales cycle from engagement, through negotiant to procurement.
* Entrepreneurial, creative approach- ability to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table.
* Background of regular and consistent achievement of sales targets, ideally in an environment of multiple product and territory
targets within a revenue target
* Solid understanding of consultative, solution-based sales approach, including sales technique training (SPIN/Challenger Sales,
etc)
* Proven ability to build and manage sales territories autonomously and effectively.
* Understanding of effective methods of upselling and cross-selling between multiple products and services.
