We have an opportunity at Havant Borough Council for an Accommodation Solutions Officer to join the Accommodation Solutions Team.




Based in our modern Plaza building in Havant, near to transport links and local shops, we require a person who has a minimum of 2
years’ experience of working with the public.



The focus of the role will be to help maintain Hampshire Home Choice (HHC), the councils social housing register, ensuring that
applications and nominations are processed quickly and in accordance with the Hampshire Home Choice Allocations Framework.



In addition, the role will include helping to determine the priority on medical grounds and/or vulnerability of applicants seeking
accommodation through the housing register and helping to manage our private sector access scheme.



You will be able to demonstrate your ability to deal with customers which may involve sensitive issues, and experience of
following policy and procedures.



You will have the ability to liaise with housing providers, experience of maintaining a database with accurate data processing and
updating, and a commitment to Continuous Personal development.



The successful candidate will hold a full clean driving licence and have access to their own vehicle for business use.
