Summary
About the role
We are currently recruiting a Security & Shrinkage Partner to be a visible partner to team members across Business Support and the CFC/UFC function to ensure we serve customers, community and planet a little better every day. You will be the custodian for personal safety and security culture, including accurate reporting of security incidents.
You will be responsible for
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence, prioritising these specific risk responsibilities in all your work
- Being the authority around security policies, procedures and key legalisation to keep our distribution centres secure. e.g. post incident reviews, usage of safety, shrinkage and security equipment, GDPR, sophisticated security investigations, accuracy counting, staff searches, key control and seasonal lockdown
- Being a guide in systems usage (Denver, Paperless, SBO, CCTV, Microlise, Hicom, Incident Reporting, Telelog)
- Being the guide on shrinkage processes and routines, partnering your Distribution Centre Manger’s (DCMs) and your stream Director to identify and mitigate risk
- Collaborating with third party supplier representatives on a periodic basis e.g. guarding & counting, ensuring that raised problems are resolved in a timely and balanced way
- Being responsible for the relationship and consistently facilitating collaboration between the central Shrinkage, Security and Hub team to drive down preventable incidents, improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage
- Proactive usage of centrally provided data, sharing foresight to diagnose and mitigate risk, getting to the truth of issues supporting DCM’s and your stream Director to deliver convergence and balanced plans
- Spending the most time in critical centres to make the biggest difference and achieve convergence
- Taking ownership of security related protector line investigations that originate within the CFC/UFC network
- Mentoring depots on timely response to police request for CCTV and be the point of contact for any sophisticated investigations working in collaboration with the hub team
- Role modelling the shrinkage and security brand, mentoring on the behaviours we want to see, celebrating and challenging the behaviour of others as required to reduce security incidents
- Influencing and encouraging excellent security routines across all CFCs/UFCs/Bolton Fulfilment centre, ensuring the teams are emphasising protection in high value areas and excellent lockdown routines
- Driving dedication and capability through supporting the completion of targeted health checks and ensuring audit compliance, supporting teams to reach their full potential
- Advising DCM’s and their teams on standard process when dealing with protest/demonstration action
- Supporting and advising on standard methodology around Distribution Centre closedown processes (Christmas)
