Independent family run funeral directors are looking to hire a funeral operative/driver bearer to help maintain their high professional standards and customer service. Smart appearance and attention to detail are essential. Join our team of staff dedicated to helping and supporting the bereaved.
Duties include but not exclusively:
• Collecting the deceased from a wide range of scenarios
• On-call work covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Preparation of the deceased.
• Installing fittings and linings to coffins
• Maintaining the fleet of large and small vehicles and driving
• Assisting on funerals including bearing coffins
• Property maintenance minor cleaning, gardening, painting etc

No experience necessary as full training will be given

Expected hours: 40 per week
• Availability for on call rota
• Weekend availability
