Summary
Holt Engineering is recruiting for an SMT Operator to join a well-established electronic manufacturer in Havant.
This is a permanent position paying up to £15ph!
As an SMT Machine Operator, you will be configuring and setting up machines for production -this will include working with SMT paste printers and reflow ovens.
This role is a permanent position paying £13-£15ph depending on experience working 37 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays!
This role requires you have previous experience in setting up and operating Surface Mount Technology machines.
Other duties of the successful SMT Operator will be:
- Mange inventory of components
- Load & unload materials into the machines
- Operate and monitor SMT machines throughout the assembly process
- Resolve machine-related issues
- Monitor SMT process
To be considered for the SMT Operator you must have:
- Experience in Pre-kitting & operating of SMT machines
- Ability to program and operate Stencil Printers
- Skilled in use of load placement programe and value checks for SMT machines
- Ability to adjust component package checks for SMT machines
- I-Pulse M20 experience is advantageous
- Carrying out maintenance on the SMT line as required
