An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Anaesthetic Rota Administrator to support the Anaesthetic Department at University Hospital Southampton.

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be an intrinsic member of the Anaesthetic Administration team. Your other key working relationships will be with Consultant & Trainee Anaesthetists, Care Group Clinical Lead, Medical Students, Clinical Theatre Operational Managers, Clinicians from other Care Groups and Bed Managers.

Your Responsibilities
What you’ll do

• You will compile and maintain rotas for the allocation of all medical staff to operating lists.
• Re-deploy staff in response to unforeseen changes in the clinical complexity of procedures, last-minute changes to availability of staff and list requirements.
• You will compile and maintain night and weekend rotas for the allocation of all medical trainee staff.
• Communicate regularly with the Clinical Theatre Operations Managers and Surgical Specialities to maintain up-to-date roster allocations.
• You will be responsible for organising and prioritising your workload.

• The ability to work independently.
