Summary

Due to recent expansion of psychological provision and exciting developments in our service, we are seeking a passionate and committed clinical or counselling psychologist to join our Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in Hounslow. MINT is a multidisciplinary service providing holistic support and treatment to adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties within a stepped-care framework. We have an established psychology team which is well integrated and highly valued in the service.

This post is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic early-career psychologist looking to develop and consolidate specialist clinical skills in working with complex needs, trauma and personality disorder diagnoses. Whilst you will use a range of interventions, we are looking for someone who has a particular interest in DBT and who can help to further develop and embed this model in our service. Applications are welcomed from those who do not yet have a DBT qualification - we will support the right candidate to undertake training and achieve accreditation.

In addition to working 1-1 with clients, a significant part of this post involves embedding and developing psychological principles and thinking within the work of the whole MDT. Therefore, we require a candidate who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about dissemination of psychological thinking, consultation and leadership.

At West London NHS Trust we want to employ talented, passionate and skilled psychological professionals, so that we can provide the best healthcare possible for those who use our services. In return, we are committed to investing in and supporting our staff.

In this role, we offer:
• Opportunity to complete fully funded DBT Training with time for this built into your job plan
• Specialist DBT supervision
• Hybrid office based/ home based working week. Please contact us for more details.
• Flexible working, with full/part time opportunities available (minimum 3 days/week)
• Supportive work environment – in a recent survey psychological professionals in our Community and Recovery Services reported high levels of satisfaction with the psychological leadership, supervision and training they receive.
• A comprehensive CPD and reflective practice program.
• Opportunities to link and collaborate with the North Thames Doctorate courses through supervision, teaching and research.
• We are a values driven organisation and Togetherness, Responsibility, Excellence and Caring underpin how we treat each other and those who use our services
