Summary
Brightwork Elgin are pleased to be recruiting for Harvest Operatives for our prestigious drinks client based in Roseisle.
Your Time at Work
Working with this client duties of the Harvest Operatives will include but are not limited to:
- Co-ordinating the intake of grain deliveries.
- Working on a weighbridge kiosk assisting vehicles entering and leaving site, recording all essential information and liaising with HGV drivers.
- Taking samples of grain according to set procedures and delivering samples to the lab for testing.
- Checking that grain volumes within the drying equipment is kept at optimum levels.
- Overseeing the disgorging of grain, liaising with the lab to ensure that no non-compliant material is off-loaded.
- Operating and monitoring drying equipment.
- General housekeeping of work areas, including cleaning of machinery and equipment.

Successful candidates should be physically fit, able to adhere to strict procedures and have reasonable numerical skills. Attention to detail is key to this role and successful candidates should be comfortable with the completion of paperwork. Own transport is essential due to the location of the workplace.
Key Information and Benefits
Operatives will be responsible for a variety of tasks which will be spread into a rota-based shift pattern between early, days, back and night shift. Flexibility regarding shifts would be advantageous, however we will consider fixed shifts.
Shifts and pay rates are as follows:
Early 0600 - 1400: £18.78 per hour
Day 0800 - 1630: £15.65 per hour
Back 1400 - 2200: £19.56 per hour
Night 2200 - 0600: £20.87 per hour
