As a Farm Grain Buyer you will manage and expand existing farmer customer contacts and gain new customers in the area by building long-term relationships.
If you were already in this Farm Grain Buyer role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
• Developing and supporting the farmer suppliers in line with our clients Values of Integrity, Customer Focus and Expertise
• Buying grain, oilseeds and pulses from farmer customers both established and new
• Negotiating the purchase contracts within the price range and terms established by the company and selling fertiliser, seed and specialist crop contracts

• High levels of verbal and numerical reasoning ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact at all levels
• Attention to detail even when working to challenging deadlines
• Good IT skills including Intermediate Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent organisational skills, including prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines and managing a varied workload in a busy environment
