Summary
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international stud. Due to the retirement of a long serving member of staff Blue Diamond Stud Farm in Newmarket is looking to recruit either one full-time or two part time people who are skilled in gardening/grounds/maintenance tasks and with a strong attention to detail. We are offering an attractive remuneration package for the right candidate. The position will require the successful applicant to be proactive at maintaining and up keeping the buildings and grounds.
A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work is desired, along with a full driving license.
This role is 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Skills:
• Knowledge of garden management desired
• General maintenance including fencing
• General upkeep of the stud housing including painting
• Basic plumbing around the Stud
• Ability to drive a tractor
• Knap sack spraying qualification an advantage
• Chainsaw license preferred
• Can confidently use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
