Summary

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing.

We also have a thriving University Centre at York offering a range of courses from Foundation degrees to Masters level.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, student focused and inspirational high needs entry level lecturer to join the inclusive learning department at the York Campus. We are passionate about our students who are at the forefront of everything we do.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of topics developing confidence and employability skills in working with animals (Small animal and Farm animal), in practical and classroom-based sessions.

You will work closely with the curriculum team to drive forward quality and ensure high standards within all elements of the study programme and the needs of students are achieved.

You will have a through understanding of learners with SEN/EHCPs and students' barriers to learners, more importantly your passion for student's will shine through in everything you do.
