Summary

St Margaret’s C of E Primary School are excited to be able to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant (22.5 hours: Mon- Fri 9am-2pm) from September 2024, working within our Resource Provision (the BASE) with pupils with Complex Communication difficulties. The successful candidate will work with children across the primary age range from Reception to Year 6. The role will involve close work as part of the Resource Provision team, having an impact providing inclusive education for all pupils in school. The successful candidate will: Be calm under pressure, adaptable and enthusiastic Be compassionate and have a positive attitude Have good listening skills and to be sensitive to pupils’ individual needs Have a strong knowledge of SEN, particularly Autism Have experience of a range of learning support needs Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for their children Is committed to CPD for themselves and others Thrive on working as part of a committed team Be an enthusiastic and imaginative individual, who will create a stimulating and vibrant learning environment. St Margaret’s C of E Primary School is a successful, inclusive, popular two form entry primary school with innovative and creative approaches to learning.
