Summary
Location: West London (Hillingdon, Hounslow & surrounding areas these roles are hybrid so a mixture of travel across London and working from home.
These are full time, fixed term contracts until 31 March 2025 with potential to extend.
The role includes delivering workshops and 121’s to students and organising work experience placements. This role is within our Get Ahead Work Experience Programme, funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund via the Greater London Authority. The programme is targeted to deliver work experience placements to young people across London. The adviser will engage with both schools and employers and will be involved in matching students to meaningful work experience placements. The Adviser will work within a team to deliver the programme, and duties will include project management of each education institution, marketing, delivering group sessions, 121 support to young people, and contributing to the implementation of operational plans.
You will have the following:
Knowledge Essential:
Minimum of 5 GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) - including English and Maths
Understanding of school curriculum
Understanding of project management tools and techniques
Desirable:
IAG qualification
IOSH qualification
Understanding of employment legislation for young people and qualification routes
Experience Essential:
Working in a client facing role
Managing small scale projects
Experience of working on multiple projects and tasks
Desirable:
Experience working with either school or employer engagement activities.
Working with databases and producing reports.
