Summary

Job Title: Registration Clerk/Admin Responsible to: Assistant Practice Manager Accountable to: Practice Manager Job Summary: To handle all administrative and clerical work involved in the processing of registrations for efficient and smooth running of the practice Specific Tasks: 1) Registrations Register all regular and temporary patients ensuring regular patients are resident in the practice area and prepare individual notes Check the computer link daily for amendments, deductions etc Book in newly received notes from the Health Authority, attach them to the practice notes and set aside for summarising Deduct patients from the system as required, downloading computer notes and attaching these to the patient notes to return to the Health Authority. Requesting, matching and sending medical notes from storage with Crown Ltd, thus resulting in using the Crown Ltd website software to action accordingly. Sole responsibility of managing Crown deliveries and organising all medical notes to and from the practice. File temporary cards, update registration details as advised, check and process FP69 information as required Close the registration quarter and produce the Heath Authority quarterly return Liaise with the Health Authority concerning registration queries 2) Post (when required) Open the practice post and scan on to the system for processing. 3) General Provide help and assistance to the clinicians as required Provide back up for Reception staff to cover unexpected sickness or other difficulties as requested by the Practice Manager General duties as required
