Summary
Senior Learning Support Assistant,
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) trained
Location - Near West Byfleet, Surrey (excellent transport links)
Contract type – Up to 27.08 hours per week, term-time only (38.6 weeks)
Hours – 8.30am-3.05pm, Monday-Friday
Contract term – Permanent to start September 2024
Salary - Payscale LPT5, FTE £25,541 - £27,492 (pro rata £16,502-£17,763) based on 27.08 hours
Do you have an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Senior Learning Support Assistant, TEFL trained to join our highly dedicated SEND department. You will be part of an amazing team with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results and helping students achieve their potential.
As a TEFL trained Senior LSA, you will be working with individual students and groups whose first language is not English, under the direction of the classroom teacher. You will use a range of strategies to support students in their learning. The role is extremely rewarding and would suit someone with a desire to make a difference. The role is for term-time only and therefore offers the opportunity for real job satisfaction while maintaining some flexibility.
