We are working with a specialist service is designed for individuals with learning disabilities who require a high level of support to live within a community setting.

Role Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, providing compassionate and personalised support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supporting clients in developing independence and life skills.
  • Facilitating social and community integration.
  • Implementing personalised care plans and documenting progress.
  • Responding to the unique needs of each client with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members and external professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Support Worker role
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is desirable
  • A compassionate and patient demeanour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work on an adhoc basis
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are an advantage.
